About these terms
These terms apply to purchases from SK Law Books at sklawbooks.com. Our business contact is SK Law Office, attention Samantha Yem, at 203, Kim Hap Building (Kimhab Building), 2nd Floor, Mao Tse Toung Blvd (245), Sangkat Tuol Svay Prey 2, Khan Boeung Kengkang, Phnom Penh, Cambodia. Contact us at info@sk-laws.com or +855 23 900 477.
Before placing an order, read these terms together with the Returns, Refunds & Cancellations policy and Shipping & Delivery policy. The Privacy & Cookies notice explains information handling. The version presented when you order applies to that order; later changes do not retrospectively remove your agreed rights.
Products and availability
Check the title, edition, language, format, condition and description before ordering. Only a product expressly described as digital is delivered electronically. Product photographs are illustrative; the description identifies what is included.
Orders are subject to availability. We will not substitute a different title, edition or format without your agreement. If an item cannot be supplied, we will contact you to offer a suitable alternative with your consent or refund the unavailable item and delivery charges attributable solely to it.
Prices, currency and charges
Prices are in US dollars (USD) unless a different currency is clearly identified. Any Cambodian riel (KHR) amount must be labelled separately. Check the amount and currency in the final checkout summary before authorising payment.
The final total must identify the items, any discounts, delivery charges and applicable taxes before you pay. Taxes are included where marked as included; any separately chargeable tax must be disclosed before payment. We do not add undisclosed compulsory charges after an order is placed or impose an additional card-payment surcharge.
Your bank or payment provider may apply its own currency-conversion rate or fees where your account currency differs from the transaction currency. These are not charges set by SK Law Books. A material price or description error will be discussed with you before acceptance; you may decline the corrected offer and receive a refund of any amount already paid.
Ordering and payment
By ordering, you confirm that you are legally able to make the purchase or have the necessary permission, and that you are authorised to use the selected payment method. Provide accurate contact and delivery details.
An automated order receipt acknowledges the request but is not acceptance. We accept the order when we send a dispatch or collection-ready confirmation, provide digital access, or expressly confirm acceptance in writing. Where payment has been collected for an order we cannot accept, it will be refunded.
Use only the payment methods offered in the checkout for your order. We fulfil prepaid orders after payment is confirmed. A pending or failed attempt is not a completed purchase; contact us before paying again when your bank shows a debit but the order is unconfirmed.
Delivery, cancellation and returns
Delivery availability, charges and estimates are governed by the shipping policy and any specific terms clearly disclosed before you order. Contact us promptly to request cancellation before physical dispatch or before digital access has been supplied.
Unused physical books may be eligible for a voluntary seven-day return under the returns policy. Separate remedies apply to incorrect, damaged, defective, undelivered or misdescribed goods. Optional return conditions do not remove rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Digital publications and intellectual property
Where a listing offers an electronic publication, the listing identifies the format and access arrangements. Unless the listing provides a wider licence, access is for the purchaser’s personal or internal professional reference. Do not redistribute, resell or publicly upload protected digital content without permission, except where permitted by law.
Purchasing a publication does not transfer copyright in protected material. Statutory exceptions and rights in material that is not protected by copyright remain unaffected. We do not promise that every printed title has a digital version or that access will remain available indefinitely; keep a permitted backup of a purchased download.
Reference material and customer rights
Publications are provided for education and reference, not as personalised legal advice. Buying a book does not establish a lawyer–client relationship. This does not excuse an incorrect product description or restrict rights concerning defective goods.
Contact us first so we can help resolve an order issue. Nothing in these terms removes mandatory consumer rights, valid payment-dispute rights or other remedies available under applicable law. Cambodian law governs these terms, subject to any mandatory protections that apply to you. You remain free to use competent authorities or courts as permitted by law.
